Zara: the Colors of the Rainbow




One of the key trends of Spring/Summer 2011 is shocking color. The display of Zara Grand Indonesia in Jakarta shows it all.

Muse: Go Green Display



Window display can become one of the source of pollution with the used properties from old concept displays. However there are some fashion houses or stores that used recycled properties that is more friendly for our already-damaged-environment. The example of this kind of display can be found in the new store of Muse, a multi brand boutique, in Plaza Indonesia. The decorations of the display are made from pages of old magazines. Very clever and innovative.

Jade : Focus on Giambatista Valli Spring/Summer 2011


Jade, a multi brands boutique, is providing contemporary fashion brands for Jakarta socialites and stylish people. Its new window display shows the mannequins wearing the latest spring/summer 2011 collection of Giambatista Valli. Giambatista Valli is favorite designers for young Parisian and Italian socialites and has dressed some Hollywood stars also. His collections is classic and feminine but so modern.

Giorgio Armani: Minimalism


The Giorgio Armani boutique is re-opened in Plaza Indonesia, Jakarta by new distributor. The super minimalism concept of this brand is fully reflected in the display. There are no eccentric or heavy decoration in sight. Mannequins with no face details wearing the latest collections stand in classical pose of fashion models. Very simple but still look luxurious in a good way.

Gucci: Postcard





This summer Gucci decorates its boutique window display in the concept of a postcard. This postcard is sent by Aldo Gucci to his father, Guccio Gucci, the founder of this legendary Italian fashion house. I'm so sorry that I am unable to write down the handwriting message of this postcard.

The capital MANGO


The latest Mango store in Jakarta is located at Senayan City. The display is so simple but still fabulous. The red-hair mannequins are posing and playing on the M, A, N, G, O letters. So fun and relax.

Karen Millen: Sleek Glamour


One new comer of Indonesia's fashion retail business is Karen Millen. This London brand focus on evening dresses and some cocktail and daywear outfits. The display is in minimalist design with black color and reflective metal. So sleek and glamour, match with the concept of this brand.

Louis Vuitton: Focus on S/S 2011 accesories



Love these two spring/summer 2011 accessories from Louis Vuitton. Instead of its infamous and much copied monogram motif, LV emphasis on creativity and conceptual design. The Cabas PM Escale tote of the Ailleurs collection has a beautiful watercolor drawing of beach scenery. And the Artifice sandal has giraffe leg as the heel instead of boring sharp-as-knife stilleto heel.

Dior: Beyond the board walk


This summer Dior takes us into holiday in the sea. The iconic Lady Dior bag as well as the Cannage Tote and the Cannage Flap Shoulder Bag are placed on the wooden blocks. The blue background with the shadow of coconut tree leaves strengthen the feeling of an exotic beach.

BCBG Max Azria: Clear sky


Still with the camera concept, this month BCBG Max Azria window 'captures' their 'models' outdoor with the sky image behind them. Perfect for the summer time when the sky is sooo blue and sun shines so bright.

Pull & Bear: Deep in Vogue



Diving equipments are the main attraction of the Pull and Bear windows. Don't know the meaning but it's still creative after all.

As it is a New York-based brand, it shows the clothes in minimalist setting and commercial way. The mannequins wear this brand's signature wrap dress, updated in spring/summer 2011 colorful trend.
