Longchamp: Dressing Table

This Fall/Winter 2012 season, Longchamp window display looks like an interior shop. After the wooden cabinet display on fall, the winter display is featuring a set of dressing table. This dressing table is the most beautiful one I ever see. It has the classic French furniture style but appears in the very modern design. Gone are the heavy wooden furniture with golden color covers in the frame or linings. They are replaced with clear transparent look of fiber glass material in both for the table and the chair. The mirror looks lavish with the brand's iconic logo.

Longchamp: Croco

Since the first time I knew and admired the world of high and luxury fashion, crocodile skin is my favorite exotic skin ever. The square patterns, the toughness appeal, and of course its exclusivity attract me although I am still not able to afford it. This fall season, Longchamp designs a collection of handbags and other creations in the crocodile skin or just pattern or mock. All these croc things are displayed on Plaza Senayan boutique that made my head turn and stop to admire for some minutes. Although this brand is not as high as other French or Italian houses, the expensive appeal look of croco still can be felt.

Longchamp: Dynamic

Longchamp Spring/Summer 2012 looks very dynamic and cheerful with supermodels Coco Rocha and the late Liisa Winkler hopping and jumping in NYC. This concept is translated in the Longchamp window display by installing ribbon installations that function as 'table' to display the bags. The free-floating-flying-look ribbon may symbolize the free and liberated spirit of the Lonchamp collection this season whic as we all can see featuring many bright trendy colors.

I know it's too late to post this theme of Chinese New Year window display, but I just found some interesting display yesterday. Gap Kids put colorful and cute-looking-face barongsai as a background for its window display. While Longchamp window display is decorated with ancient-Chinese-style door, a wooden table (or chair), and two traditional baskets. Welcome to the Year of the Dragon

Longchamp: Kate Moss' boudoir

Kate Moss is the most influential supermodel in the history that some fashion brands and houses make her as muse or even designers besides her modelling works. For example Longchamp that has been cooperating with her in some collections. This fall, Lonchamp celebrates this collaboration by putting Kate Moss photograph in the window display with boudoir themed.

Some window displays concept are taken from the advertisement image or perhaps look book, catalogue, or sometimes the concept of fashion show. Longchamp directly move Audrey Marnay to its display complete with the riverbank concept of its spring/summer 2011 campaign image. Emporio use this concept also. While Lanvin take the inspiration from its pre-fall 2011 look book where models are photographed with some wild animals.

The arrival of the latest pre-fall 2011 or fall/winter 2011/12 collections has come and must be displayed to the trend-hungry-public. Longchamp store at Plaza Senayan has moved to the new location. The store offers more space so taht you could choose this brand's iconic bags both for men and women. The window display is so modern and unique. The bags are covered with plastic bubble as if it is delivered from outer space.
