Dior: Aeroplane

Dior Resort 2013 campaign image is showing the French actress, Marion Cottilard, having a fun moment at a white sand beach with clear light blue sky. She looks so calm and relax running around on the sea shore while carrying the iconic Lady Dior bag. Up above the sky, there is an old aeroplane flying an it comes in light robin egg green colored. This image is now translated into an arrangement of the window display. Sadly, the fun and playful look of the campaign image disappears since there is no mannequins standing inside the window (this boutique does not carry the ready-to-wear collection). The display look silent and blank only the hanging aeroplanes in green and red colors that are lively enough to create attention.

Dior: Paparazzi

From the campaign image that features Mila Kunis gang-banged by many paparazzi with cameras to the window display, paparazzi becomes the main focus for Dior this Fall 2012 season. On the display, paparazzi appear in the black shadow form and are capturing the Miss Dior handbags collection. Watch this display live on the location and you can see the flashing blitz from their cameras.

Dior: Versailles

Dior latest campaign both video and printed form is called Secret Garden and was shot in some parts of Versailles including the magnificent Gallerie des Glaces and its beautiful garden. This two famous parts of the palace is transformed into the window display in very excellent way. Look at the chandeliers and the full-body mirrors inside the window part that come in golden color. A triangle tree also stands on top of the green grass ground with two window panes. Beautiful.

There are three Dior boutiques in Singapore and all of them has the same window display properties. Thanks God, the mannequins are all in different poses and stylings.

Dior: Sunny summer

Dior window display for Summer 2012 looks so sunny and bright. With the wavy wooden interior and the background all come in natural shades of light brown and soft yellow, this display is the reinterpretation of the Dior Summer 2012 Lady Dior campaign itself. On the campaign, Marion Cotillard, the icon of this legendary bag, was shot at the same background and environment of the display while carrying the new Lady Dior bag in tweed patchwork. Unfortunately, the bag on the image is not yet available here in Indonesia.

Accessories are fashion stuffs that are both easy and difficult to be displayed. Easy if they are displayed on the mannequins to complete a total look. But, what if you want to display the accessories products only or your boutique or store doesn't have clothing collection. Here are window displays that are featuring excellent arrangement of accessories.

I took the photos on the Dior: French chairs, part 1 at the lunch time when I arrived at Plaza Senayan. So surprised that in the dinner time when I am about to leave the plaza, the display is already re-arranged. There are improvements in the display of the bags and other accessories, make the display more live.

Dior: French chairs, part 1

The latest Dior window display is portraying the chicness of French architecture so well. Silvers Louis-style chairs that are usually found at the Dior headquarter at Avenue Montaigne 30 are on the display. Since the Plaza Senayan boutique is not selling ready-to-wear collections, the mannequins are absence on the display. However, the result is a quiet and serene atmosphere besides the beautiful French room.
