Banana Republic: Sale
All the glass window of Banana Republic store looked frosted and not see through. The only things can be seen are the words that spelled 'SALE UP TO 60%'. Very simple idea to promote the sale yet very attractive.

Banana Republic: Beautiful wallpaper
White and bright China blue colored wallpapers become the main attention when we look at Banana Repbulic window display for Summer 2012 season. The motifs and the patterns suggest a 50's style that match with the poster images of Coco Rocha and David Gandy posing like a two stylish socialites of that era. Unfortunately, the outfits shown on the mannequins are not as good as on the poster.

Banana Republic: Animal prints

Banana Republic window display is covered with animal prints motifs, the zebra's black and white stripes and the giraffe' brown square shape skin. The animals are also there on the display. The giraffe with its long neck are posing along together with the mannequins who are wearing too-glamorous-safari look. The zebra, it's the little one, are hiding behind a mannequin. Perhaps too shy to be observed by onlookers.

Sparkling Snows
As December is coming closer, many stores and boutiques are starting to decorate their shop with Christmas theme. This year Banana Republic presents sparkling snows instead of usual faux-snow made with stereo foam. This sparkling little snow is made of little bulbs that usually decorate Christmas tree. Beautiful and a little bit magical.

MACHO

This weeek I read an article in DAMAN magazine about an ex late-90s-supermodel who love 'manimal', the combination between man animal a.k.a. man with chest hair. She said in the article that nowadays the world full of pretty guys in make up. This is a reality today with every major fashion houses provide men with fashion and accesories. However, only a few brands remain masculine their macho customer, while the others offer the opposite one for the opposite men customer too.
Alas, I do not want to talk about macho or feminine men. Here are some examples of the macho style displays that no need to show chest hair. The black color of furniture, sharp and square cut, simple detail, and the gesture of the mannequins sharpen the manly atmosphere.
