On Pedder: Focus on Maison Michel
Maison Michel is a Parisian-based headwear brand that was found at 1936. Founded by French milliner Auguste Michel, the atelier is now owned by Chanel and is widely admired for its exploration of shapes and materials. These days, Laetitia Crahay (from Chanel) becomes the creative director of this brand.
At one part of On Pedder display, there are hat boxes with head-mannequins wearing the latest collection of this brand. Mostly inspired by 20's design (completely fitted with the mannequins' bob hair style, those headpieces are so wearable.
