Last Post for This Blog

Dear all frequent visitors and readers of this blog, I am sorry yet glad to announce that this post will be my last post in this blog. I am now creating the second blog about window display in the new address displayhunter2.blogspot.com. The reason of this decision is because my Picasa album quota has reached its maximum capacity. My second blog will talk about the same issue that is all beautiful, interesting, and exciting window display from all over the universe.

Debenhams: Festive snowy Christmas

What are the things that always identical and linked with Christmas celebrations? The answer might be Christmas tree, colorful gift boxes, and the white snows. These things can be found instantly in the Debenhams window displays at Senayan City, Jakarta. They look so festive compared to other boutiques that already decorated with Christmas theme but I am confused with the concept. The example is the snow properties that are everywhere even in the scene of a dining table. In reality it would be very impossible to have a lunch or dinner outdoor in the snowy day.

Guess Kids: Cheerful snowy Christmas

Guess Kids window display has the same theme to the Guess main line's window. It is a white Christmas situation with white cottons spread out everywhere, acting as snows. However, it has more lively and cheerful properties like the hanging white balls that might resemblance the falling of the snows. Plus, there is a wide-smiling snowman that is carrying an electric guitar.

Urban Icon: Isolated

Another local store or boutique that always has a great and creative window display concept is Urban Icon. The latest display is now featuring an isolated location or spot. There are four hard paper boxes with prohibited ribbons in front and stop signage next to the boxes. Behind them is a red brick wall but with half part in grey color. I do not understand clearly with the concept but it is still an interesting one.

Rococo: Relax at the park

Rococo is local multi-brands shoes and accessories boutique that always has interesting window display. The second store at Plaza Senayan is now already updated with new window concept. A mannequin wearing a chic blue dress and a hat is laying on the grass of a large park. She is perhaps one of the well heeled ladies of Manhattan that spent the relax time at Central Park. She is alone and only accompanied by her bag and spectacles that are on the grass. The right angle of the park image make this display look outstanding rather than blank or boring although there is only a single property inside.

Boss Hugo Boss: A walk in the park

Hugo Boss seems to be a fan of metal hardware this year. Remember the steel flowers with the flying seed and the Hugo Boss newspaper machine? This winter season, Boss Hugo Boss window display at Gandaria City is installed with an autumn scenery in the park made entirely of metal properties. The trees, the bench under the trees, and the falling leaves are all in metallic silver shade and made in perfectly detail proportions. It is nice and match with the brand's esthetic but a little bit boring too.

Guess: White Christmas

White Christmas might be the basic concept for this year's Guess Christmas display. Started from the background is the black and white giant posters of its advertising image. On the display, mannequins are standing and sitting on the white snowy environments made of white shiny fabric. Dried trees with white cottons that resemblance the snow are everywhere.

Louis Vuitton: Snowflakes formation

It is November but the Christmas spirit is already in the air with boutiques decorated with Christmas ornaments. The first and the most elegance of all is this year's Louis Vuitton holiday or Christmas window display. There are falling flowers, that might become the resemblance of its iconic monogram logo, which form a giant snow flake in the women display. For the men, antlers of reindeer surround a male mannequin wearing the covetable Fall/Winter 2012 jacket. To add the festivities, accessories little windows are also decorated with the aforementioned falling flowers in the background. All of this properties are in metallic gold that glisten and sparkling in the most elegance and beautiful way. Perfect!

Chanel: Welcome to the planet Chanel

Chanel window display is always the 'imitation' of the runway decoration concept. Thus, the all-size-crystals planet that form the runway of Chanel Fall/Winter 2012 is now on the display. It is a very perfect, vivid, and detail reinterpretation of a concept that perhaps cannot be rivaled by other boutiques. No word to comment it except FABULOUS and EXCELLENCE
