Massimo Dutti: A lady in adventure

Looking at the properties and styling of Massimo Dutti store at Senayan City is like looking back to the old glory days of adventurer. One female mannequin looks like a World War bomber with a pilot hat in her head, long coat, plus a boot. Behind her, there is an old vintage early-days camera that is also used to display the scarf collection in other section of the window. Another lady mannequin is laying so relax, she looks like a sailor or perhaps also adventurer.

Massimo Dutti: Expression

So long I do not write any posting about Massimo Dutti in Jakarta. The main reason is because the constant display arrangement that never change. Recently, I passed by this brand's store at Grand Indonesia and saw the different mannequin expression at the men section entrance. On the left, a male mannequin stands with, for me, rather awkward pose. The right window is occupied by a female mannequin with very attractive pose and styling. These two mannequins are like actor and actress on a movie studio. Look at the big board behind the male mannequin and also properties near the female one.

Massimo Dutti: New look

It's been a long time I do not have posting about Massimo Dutti since there are no change in this brand's stores in Jakarta. Thus, when I went to Marina Square, Singapore, last May, I was so glad to find a different arrangement of the display. The furniture store concept still exists but the way the VM team put the mannequins and style their poses are so excellent. Their like actors and actresses in a movie scene shooting or perhaps stylish ladies and gentlemen in a cocktail event.

Toward the end of this Fall/Winter 2011 season, many boutique and fashion stores update their window displays with home decoration style as if they are selling clothes and furniture also. Some stores blends the furniture with the fashion stuffs or images, but some other show the furniture in a very architectural way.
