 Miu Miu - ION Orchard

Miuccia Prada is perhaps the most influential designer in the world of fashion. Her designs and creations are the key trend of the season. Designers will look at her and follow her style in the next seasons. Besides her family's heritage brand, Prada, she also created Miu Miu. This younger brand was, at first, the more affordable aspect of the brand, but now it has the same price level with its older sister. Here are some interesting and fabulous Prada and Miu Miu collections displayed in the period of May 14 - 15 in Singapore.

Undefined installations

 Ermenegildo Zegna - ION Orchard

 Bulgari - Paragon Shopping Centre

Both Ermenegildo Zegna and Bulgari window displays are decorated with installations that until now I still don't understand or catch the meaning. At Zegna, there is a halo-like formation of wooden sticks in white color behind the mannequins. While, Bulgari placed two circular installations in each window. This circular thing might look like a lamp or perhaps a fan.

 Zara - Grand Indonesia

 Zara - 313@Sommerset

 Etro - Paragon Shopping Centre

Window displays are like editorial spreads of fashion magazines. Mannequins are standing, sitting, lounging with different style of poses. The make up, the styling of the outfits, and accessories complete their mood and expression. Plus the set and the properties that are also various and somewhat thematic.

Ermenegildo Zegna is Italy's legendary suit maker that has hundred years of experiences in producing the high quality men suits and other men stuffs. The window display of Zegna everywhere is about masculinity from the choice of property materials, the mannequin pose styles, and of course the right choice of clothing and accessories. The example of this shop window in Paragagon Shopping Centre, Singapore, where everything that I or other men want is available on it.

Petit Bateau: Sea monsters

There are some sea monsters and ghosts having vacation in the open sea. They look very relax and spirited and carefree. And the most important is that they look so funny and cute. These characters are required since they are inside the Petit Bateau window display, a children apparel store.

Coach: Aggresive

I do not know what is the idea behind this Coach window display I saw at Paragon, Singapore. All the latest bags, purses, clutches, and other accessories are pinned at the panel display. For me, the display look like a scene of a black market where fake bags are sold to fake-stuffs-hunter. Luckily, there are some interesting men collections put on the display to please my eyes.

Modern Minimalist: European designers

 Givenchy - Paragon Shopping Centre

Salvatore Ferragamo - Paragon Shopping Centre

 Bottega Veneta - ION Orchard

Yves Saint Laurent - ION Orchard

Valentino - ION Orchard

Jil Sander - Hilton Singapore The Shopping Gallery

Stella McCartney - Hilton Singapore The Shopping Gallery

The modern minimalist concept of boutiques and window displays are also used by lots of designers from Europe. Although Milan and Paris, or London, may become the source of all the elaborate details and embroidery or crazy designs, a clean look of a store still becomes an icon of luxury.
