Bubble Girl: Sale in the air

Bubble Girl, a boutique selling dresses for girls, was having a sale promotion the time I took these photos. There are giant red colored letters that scream SALE and also words of 'in the air' on the window. To strengthen the message of 'air' the VM team creates a very effective properties - balloons made of paper that have white ribbon. The balloons are hung up on the ceiling so that they look like flying in the air. Simple but excellent.

Metro: De-stress with shopping

One of Indonesia's biggest department store, Metro, is now holding a Big Sale promo. Unlike last year, the window display looks so ordinary and nothing special, for me. However, there is a very interesting window display of it I saw at Mall Taman Anggrek. It occupies only a very small space and located in a corner where there are very few passers-by. Beyond this limitation, the display is actually a very great one. It carries the core message about shopping that can make people shop more and more. There are five black-colored female mannequins in black and white outfit posing behind a writing in the glass window 'The Best Way to De-stress is to Shop Now'. One of the mannequins has a bubble mind above its head that reads 'I feel good'.

Boss Orange: Genius fishes

Boss Orange Summer 2012 window display is about underwater fishing process that is very vividly portrayed with the use of some tools inside the window. Now, it is time to have sale and the VM team does a very creative thing by using stickers of tiny winy shark image stickers to form the SALE word. It looks as if those fishes are genius that they make a formation of letters.

It's Saturday and if you want to get relax in simple way, just going out at shopping malls. Don't forget to bring your credit or debit cards or cash because almost all boutiques and stores has big sale promo. Check out this specially designed window display that celebrate the sale. Hope this would be a good information too.

Banana Republic: Sale

All the glass window of Banana Republic store looked frosted and not see through. The only things can be seen are the words that spelled 'SALE UP TO 60%'. Very simple idea to promote the sale yet very attractive.

Kate Spade: White bamboo

Bamboo and Haiti has a very close connection that Kate Spade window display is decorated with rows of white bamboos. The theme is traveling to Haiti and the mannequins are wearing printed coral-color dresses, rafia hats, and sunglasses, posing in front of the white colored bamboos. And since this is a sale season, there are stickers of SALE words in a choice of bright colors to expose it.

Seibu: Sale

Jakarta Great Sale 2012 had already been started officially at June 1, 2012 with some boutiques and stores started to have sale promo. Seibu at Grand Indonesia for example has its sale promo with very unique exposure at the window display. If other stores just put stickers or posters, the VM team of Seibu created a giant rolls of celluloid film to decorate each window displays available. The sale words were put at a red background to attract the eyes of mall visitors.

New Look: Uniform

When I went to Singapore last May, New Look was holding a sale promotion. This British high street brand's store at 313@Sommerset was displayed with a unique yet simple concept. All the mannequins inside the window display were wearing the same clothing and accessories plus a name tag with 'SALE' written card inside. They looked like the New Look staffs that were ready to serve the sale-hunter-maniacs.

Lanvin: Sale

Some high fashion brands in Jakarta are already started the end of season sale program. One of them is Lanvin which make a very elegance Sale promotion poster. The poster is put in the middle of the beautiful light blue Lanvin boxes. This arrangement can attract mall visitors to look and even come in if they are rich enough to buy the luxurious dresses or suits and accessories inside.

Ted Baker: Sale

There are many ways to promote the sale program on your stores. Some stores use the soft spoken way to maintain the exclusive image, but some speak the sale loudly to attract mall onlookers. The example of the second way can be seen on the Ted Baker window display. There is a giant poster of horse riding athletes and some words written there - 'And they're off to Ted's sale'. This poster is very attractive among the other neighbor stores.

ck Calvin Klein: Feast

The latest update of CK Calvin Klein window display is about a holiday celebration as written on the glass window. There is two male mannequins carrying an transparent sculpture of a table full with glasses and bowls. The other two female mannequins are posing as if they are enjoying the party ambience. This window is framed with light yellow bulbs to strengthen the party nuance. It is also written on the glass window that there is a Sound Installation created by artist Lizzi Bougatsos of Gang Gang Dance but I don't exactly understand what it means. Perhaps somebody can help me :)

La Senza: Pinky Christmas

La Senza is a lingerie brand that sells colorful, girly, sensual, and sexy undies for girls and ladies. The Christmas window display of La Senza reflects the characteristic of this brand. There are gift boxes in pink and polkadot bows). The headless mannequins wear the white-fur-lining camisole, undies, and also mini-tutu. And don't forget the clearance discount too gals !

BCBG MaxAzria: Winter Sale

BCBG MaxAzria combine the Christmas and sale concept display at one way. The sale letters are in red color and covered with snows. On the ground we can see sands of sterofoam that form the snow.

Boss Hugo Boss: Sale alert

It's sale time and Boss Hugo Boss boutique at Pacific Place spread this news by displaying the sale alert on the display. The previous wall clocks are covered with red-colored paper, onto them are the 4 words S A L E.

Now we arrive at the end of Fall/Winter 2011 and it very near to Christmas. Thus, the need of shopping is increasing and her comes the sale season.

Cache Cache: sale

Watch how this French brand styles their mannequins in just simple T-shirts (with sale words in some languages written on it). Also the colorful stickers and papers on the glass window and the ceilings. Fun, attractive, and very communicative.

Gaudi: Comic

Gaudi opens its latest store recently at eX with comic theme on its display. Expression tablets that usually found at comic are used to shows the discount program. While the comic images are used to cover 'A' letter and the display ground. Interesting and unique at the same time.

BCBG Max Azria: Sale & an unpublished image

The sale promo in BCBG Max Azria boutique is still on going. The VM team has an attractive idea to showing the sale promo in a very exclusive way. Not just a red paper showing sale word, instead the mannequin carries a kite with sale word written on it.
