Rococo: Relax at the park

Rococo is local multi-brands shoes and accessories boutique that always has interesting window display. The second store at Plaza Senayan is now already updated with new window concept. A mannequin wearing a chic blue dress and a hat is laying on the grass of a large park. She is perhaps one of the well heeled ladies of Manhattan that spent the relax time at Central Park. She is alone and only accompanied by her bag and spectacles that are on the grass. The right angle of the park image make this display look outstanding rather than blank or boring although there is only a single property inside.

Rococo: Manhattan

I took this display photos last week's Thursday when the hurricane Sandy was still on her way to the city of Manhattan. What I am now observing on CNN, internet pictures, and Instagrams of some New Yorkers are pictures of a ghost city where no people on the street compared to this black and white picture that is used for the background of Rococo latest window display. It is one of the famous building and street corner of the city that is always busy and bustling. About the display itself, it is arranged to display the latest neon colored sneakers from Cole Haan, an accessories brand that is based in New York.

Money Bath

The latest display of this Rococo store in Plaza Indonesia borrow the concept of the famous scene of movie American Beauty. Every guys will remember the scene where Mena Suvari is on the bath up with red rose petals cover her body. Kevin Spacey comes to seduce her but unfortunately it is only in his dream. Here, the decent and simple feelings of the theme are replaced with the glamourous one. The woman mannequin is wearing nothing but a crystal-decorated sandals, and the man mannequin wear complete pant suit rather than a pajama. A bottle of wine and the glass, a Michael Kors bag, and the Rococo money smells of materialistic rather then lust.
