Urban Icon: Isolated

Another local store or boutique that always has a great and creative window display concept is Urban Icon. The latest display is now featuring an isolated location or spot. There are four hard paper boxes with prohibited ribbons in front and stop signage next to the boxes. Behind them is a red brick wall but with half part in grey color. I do not understand clearly with the concept but it is still an interesting one.

The Time Place: Beautiful Christmas card

Looking at The Time Place Christmas window display is like viewing a beautiful Christmas card from special one or best friend. It shows a snowman standing near a wooden fence (that also becomes the watch display) and a dried tree. Snows have fallen so hard that the environment look white and brights. Simple but beautiful.

Louis Vuitton: Snowflakes formation

It is November but the Christmas spirit is already in the air with boutiques decorated with Christmas ornaments. The first and the most elegance of all is this year's Louis Vuitton holiday or Christmas window display. There are falling flowers, that might become the resemblance of its iconic monogram logo, which form a giant snow flake in the women display. For the men, antlers of reindeer surround a male mannequin wearing the covetable Fall/Winter 2012 jacket. To add the festivities, accessories little windows are also decorated with the aforementioned falling flowers in the background. All of this properties are in metallic gold that glisten and sparkling in the most elegance and beautiful way. Perfect!

Valentino: Black and white

Valentino window display always looks minimalist and calm with a mannequin and some tables to display accessories. However, it always look interesting with the very right choice of show stopper collection displayed and the choice of color. These photos are the example of a very interesting Valentino display. Black and white is the dominant theme but it is not the regular classic. Pay attention at the detail of a dress, a blouse, and of course the fabulous accessories collection.

Bubble Girl: Sale in the air

Bubble Girl, a boutique selling dresses for girls, was having a sale promotion the time I took these photos. There are giant red colored letters that scream SALE and also words of 'in the air' on the window. To strengthen the message of 'air' the VM team creates a very effective properties - balloons made of paper that have white ribbon. The balloons are hung up on the ceiling so that they look like flying in the air. Simple but excellent.

Rococo: Manhattan

I took this display photos last week's Thursday when the hurricane Sandy was still on her way to the city of Manhattan. What I am now observing on CNN, internet pictures, and Instagrams of some New Yorkers are pictures of a ghost city where no people on the street compared to this black and white picture that is used for the background of Rococo latest window display. It is one of the famous building and street corner of the city that is always busy and bustling. About the display itself, it is arranged to display the latest neon colored sneakers from Cole Haan, an accessories brand that is based in New York.

Bulgari: The vase

Another version of Bulgari window display that features a simple vase or pot can be seen at Plaza Indonesia. The vase is now coming in dark brown color and still stands in a white table. This minimalistic style property is really perfect to display the necklace collection that is inspired by antique Roman coins.

Emporio Armani: Fall/Winter 2012 collection

The window display of Emporio Armani at Plaza Indonesia is now installed with mannequins wearing the Fall/Winter 2012 collection of this Italian brand. The styling is straight from the runway look that it might look inappropriate to the Indonesian weather and season with layers of jacket or blazer, wools and other warmer materials, plus thick shawls and tights. Hope no passers-by will copy this look straight ahead.

Christian Louboutin: X-Ray photo

Christian Louboutin is not only interesting in its collections of red-sole-shoes and fabulous handbags but also has been creating many magnificent and out of the box window display concept. After last season's game box, now the window display of Christian Louboutin at Plaza Indonesia is decorated with X-ray photos. Louboutin X-Ray Corporation is the name of the 'company' that creates those photos. One of them is a very interesting one with two women x-rayed only from head to hip. The photo result shows their bones plus their jewelries and sunglasses. Fabulous, magnificent, creative !
