Kate Spade boutique at Plaza Senayan has been renovated with new look. It looks fresh and very modern, also outstanding among the stores nearby. The new window display are is more spacious and decorated with stripes theme.
Indonesia is proud to become the country where Lacoste opened its biggest store in Asia. Unfortunately, this position will be replaced by Japan (planned to be opened) this 2012.
I took this photos of Jade window display on November 2011. I did not have a clue to write about this blog because for me the concept did not match with the Christmas or sale season at that time. Today, I decide to post it because the concept of this window display is matching to welcome the spring season. There are four mannequins wearing chic cocktail clothing standing at a green valley and there are hot balloons flying above the sky.

Showstopper is a term to call something that can attract and interest people to stop and observe those thing. Window display supposed to have the function to display the showstoppers thing to customer or people passing by. Here are two of of the most striking collections that I found recently that can stop me to observe (although I have seen it on the brand's website or other fashion sites)
With the success existence of Mango in Indonesia, its distributor bravely enough to open another variant of Mango that is Mango Touch. Mango Touch is an accessories store of this Spain-based brand. Its first store is located at Central Park, Jakarta.
Thanks God that the TopShop store at Central Park is still showing the Christmas style window display. The display is featuring some wooden trees in white color as if they are covered with thick snows.
Gucci at Plaza Senayan has a side part window display that focus on displaying accessories. As an accessories lover, I love to observe this kind of window display. The VM team arrange the products excellently. The latest update is displaying the golden colored accessories from shoes, bags, clutches, sunglasses, etc.
The latest Louis Vuitton window display is featuring red cherries and cup cake. Not so special for me because there are no surprises elements when I took the photo at the Louis Vuitton Plaza Indonesia. To present the ready to wear collection, a woman mannequin is placed on a round shape blocked with background of paper cup sculptures.
Diane von Furstenberg window display at Plaza Senayan is already updated with Cruise 2012 collection on mannequins. There are no special decorations on the window, only a graphic themed that look like taken from children's drawing wallpaper to match the pattern of the clothing.
Last night I was so surprised to find the latest Louis Vuitton window display at Plaza Senayan. I saw a giant cup cake with very thick whipping cream on top of it. There are red cherries everywhere on the display. Today, I plan to look for another photos at Plaza Indonesia.
While other stores are busy displaying the sale exposure or last season's stock, big fashion houses are ready to impress with their latest collections. Cruise or spring/summer or even special collection items, they are the new must have for those fashion maniac. But simply choose the classic one to stock up your wardrobe.
Christian Louboutin window display always attracts me although I am not a woman who can wear those fabulous red sole high heels. Last week, there are two striking high heels displayed on the window. Those two heels have spikes, sharp enough to stab a bad guy hahahah. Extreme details but very interesting.
There are many ways to promote the sale program on your stores. Some stores use the soft spoken way to maintain the exclusive image, but some speak the sale loudly to attract mall onlookers. The example of the second way can be seen on the Ted Baker window display. There is a giant poster of horse riding athletes and some words written there - 'And they're off to Ted's sale'. This poster is very attractive among the other neighbor stores.
The latest update of CK Calvin Klein window display is about a holiday celebration as written on the glass window. There is two male mannequins carrying an transparent sculpture of a table full with glasses and bowls. The other two female mannequins are posing as if they are enjoying the party ambience. This window is framed with light yellow bulbs to strengthen the party nuance. It is also written on the glass window that there is a Sound Installation created by artist Lizzi Bougatsos of Gang Gang Dance but I don't exactly understand what it means. Perhaps somebody can help me :)
